Savior

Counting down.

This would be the last few times that I am writing at this specific spot on Earth.

At that moment of Great changes, everyone were expecting something... new flags, new era, new identity...I was probably sleeping at some borrowed space, expecting the move towards somewhere called "home".

It was something we had, but then we lost it ... that's still fine.

The Toons Army were 12 points clear at the top of the table until the end of March 96. They end up brought the greatest ever disappointments back to St. James's Park, not the Silverware.

It's not the end of the world anyway. But if you were not accepting the failure and trying to paste gold sheets on the rotten fruit, you are making a big mistake.

The 15m signings of Alan Shearer was biggest bet for the Magpies. The legendary Captain were fighting hard, years after years, and proved the price tag was more than worthy, but the team were burning out of fuel.

We made a big bet, and we got the same destiny, too. We were in troubles, after troubles.

It was the kindergarten teacher who told me if you made mistakes, you gotta pay for it somehow. This was an expensive one. Fortunately we had a decade to save the sinking Titanic since then. Unfortunately, now time's up, pens down.

One false hope after another. The coins gone, and the stormy weathers hit us down. the 85k, Asian financial crisis, 9-11, SARS ...

Lady Luck were with us, sometimes. Ups, downs, ups, downs ... Sir Bobby has brought the Magpies back to somewhere close... but, it's destiny. We were not the same in the good old days. We were fortunate enough not to be Leeds-United-the-Second.

It's time for a right decision.

Glenn knew he is not the Savior and resigned this week.

I wish, I made a right decision, too.

WE WILL BE BACK.
